Training
The Reel Access team is available to deliver bespoke training for any group who would like to learn the basics of filmmaking especially in a community context. We also run one-off training days with schools or organisations that want to get the most out of equipment they may have.
Education
Reel Access is available to deliver training sessions in schools and offer professional support to teachers and smaller groups of students:
Creative additions to the curriculum – filmmaking can be used across the curriculum in exciting ways – eg: interpreting an English set text into a short film / making a music video / building a magic lantern / a cookery programme etc
GCSE support – The team work with smaller groups of media students, up skilling them in terms of practical filmmaking. Knowledge that isn’t always available in an academic context.
Extended Schools / Gifted and Talented – Reel Access has worked with young people from extended schools and gifted and talented programmes, exploring personal and social learning through filmmaking.
Alternative Provision – As part of the package of Alternative Provision available from our partners at the Pump, Reel Access delivers Film and media accredited modules.

YFC is a mixture of filmmaking and drama activities that is young people led. The group is aged from 12 – 18 and new members are always welcome. The cost varies per term and is booked via mac.
