Reel Access is a Birmingham based participatory arts organisation with a focus on creative media including filmmaking, photography, print and digital. Established in 2006, the company is passionate about working alongside young people and community groups to develop their skills in filmmaking and all forms of creative media in a collaborative way to inspire change through sound and vision.

Like many other small arts organisations the current COVID-19 situation will have a huge impact on our micro organisation and our cashflow. The arts sector is taking a hit of 92% to it’s income and Reel Access will not be able to do any delivery for a good while, which is the bulk of our activity. We have set up a ko-fi account, as a friendly way to ask fans to support our work for the price of a coffee, and it would be fantastic if you could support us by sharing this amongst your friends – ko-fi.com/reelaccess

As well as running Young Filmmakers Club at mac and our Splash Animation Club at Stirchley Baths, we deliver projects in schools, with homeless charities and other vulnerable groups, we would love to still be here to do that when all this has blown over and thank you for your support.
